Haven't been on substack much these days, and was surprised to see a notification I'd been mentioned. Glad for the reminder to check out your page, I look forward to reading more of your wonderful essays.
I have noticed and been looking forward to your talk for a while! Glad it was a helpful suggestion.
Thanks for posting my talks by the way. Bit off a bit more than I could chew with these, to be perfectly honest 😅, but I think they at least give a sense of potential Baha'i openings in that tradition. Seems there's so much opportunity for Baha'i thought in that general space, phenomenology/hermeneutics.
Alas, there's much intellectual opportunity in many directions, yet a relatively small community! Very grateful I ran across your own work, especially as I slowly lean into philosophy more. Great and helpful stuff!
I’m incredibly jealous, Aaron! I’d love to be able to attend that Oxford conference. There are so many wonderful scholars giving presentations. Have fun and let us know how it goes. It’s possible I might be able to attend the conference in Ottawa. Maybe I’ll see you there! Afterwards, in October, I’m supposed to give a presentation at the annual conference of the Sir Richard Francis Burton Society in Ljubljana. Inshallah, I’ll be visiting Florence and Ravenna to visit Dante’s resting place. And in December, I’m giving a little web talk on the Battle of Haifa (1918) for the Egyptian Expeditionary Force in WW1 discussion group.
